I have known Alison for many years and she has always been my rock in times of need. However, over the years I have watched her transform from a “shoulder to cry on” to an amazing therapist.

She works intuitively and never fails to amaze me with the way she always hits the nail on the head. She gets to the root of the problem and makes me see so clearly, where and why I had been stuck, and then she helps me deal with the emotions. It is not unusual to cry buckets during a session, but what a feeling of release!
You have to decide when you are ready to begin the journey to healing yourself, and it is never going to be easy, but I cannot think of anyone else I would want there to guide me on my path.

I once glimpsed fleetingly at a list of the different types of abuse there is, I say fleetingly because in my lifetime I had suffered most of them from an early age and it was just too painful to read the list. That was the beginning of my search for healing, a search that took me to hell and back more than once.
I had almost reached my fifties and I knew instinctively that if I reached my fiftieth birthday then I would survive, at this stage I just wanted to die, I could not find a single reason to live. I had done my best, tried various therapies all to no avail.
Then I was introduced to Alison Levesley. Meeting Alison was the turning point for me; Alison's clear, uncomplicated, straightforward method of counselling enabled me to see the light at the end of a very long tunnel that had lasted more than ten years. As a direct result of Alison's work with me, I have managed to come to terms with my life. I was hardly able to walk through the effects of M.E. and Fibromyalgia and had absolutely no prospect of ever working again. Now I have a part time job, a social life, most importantly, the will to live. Plus, the tools to face any adversity, likely to come calling. It is impossible for me to express the gratitude I feel for this new lease of life, .made possible through Alison, thank you, seems like such a little word!
